Industrial machine tool controls and rigidity combined with innovative designed tooling set
the HMC 2500 apart from "automotive" class machines. Z axis Ballscrew feed and servo drive
controls provide the ultimate in head machining precision. Both automatic and manual seatcutting
are provided with the interactive plain text programming system. Feedrates, spindle speeds, and
cutting depths are all displayed on the high resolution display. Programs can be saved in
seconds for easy recall.
This provides the consistent precision required for high performance
head work as well as the speed desired in PER applications. DCM-Tech Series III ball drive
tooling provides the ultimate in flexibility, supporting both live and dead pilot seat cutting.
The wide selection of seat cutters, carbide pilots, porting tools and guide tooling easily handle
most workpieces. Optional tooling is even available for vertical OHC and block align boring. The
HMC 2500 SD is the only machine in the automotive industry with all these features and
capabilities without compromise!
