Hand scraped ways, dovetail columns, and heavy cast iron bases are the "foundation" of precision
for the DCM line of resurfacing machines. DCM manufactured spindle motor assemblies are fitted
with high precision angular contact bearings and are supported in precisely machined cast iron
housings. Additionally, the rotors are balanced, assuring long life and smooth performance. Table
and vertical feeds are through precision ballscrews for smooth consistent action.
Semiautomatic or "SD" programmable control systems are then added to these solid mechanics. Two machine
capacities are available, the 3810/20 series for automotive and the 5410/20 series for medium
diesel applications. In addition to control options, grinding heads, coolant systems, CBN/PCD
cutterheads, and rapid mount head and block fixtures are all available.

Cylinder Head and Block and engine component resurfacing - grinding or milling on Aluminum
or Iron. DCM has a wide variety of abrasives as well as PCD and CBN inserts, to suit any
remanufacturing operation.
